What is a Documentary Edit?
Prince Weddings' definition of a Documentary Edit is the traditional A-Z (from Beginning to End of Coverage) Edit. The main body of the Documentary Edit is the traditional edit of the Ceremony and Reception that are edited between the cameras (this varies on your package options). We also remaster the live incoming audio channels in the Ceremony and Reception edit. Before the Ceremony and Reception Full edits also add in a detail video (approximately 45-60 seconds in duration) of the various details from the Ceremony and Reception.
When purchasing a Standard Definition DVD(SDDVD) or Blu-Ray(High Definition aka HD) there are typically 3 selections. Highlights (or Same Day Edit), Chapters Menu, and Bonus (unedited footage (commonly known as Raw Footage), typically footage that didn't make it into your Highlight or Documentary Edit). The Chapters Menu also has text that that will navigate to particular portions of the Documentary Edit (example: First Dance, Cake Cutting, Ceremony, First look)
