Coronado Community Center Wedding | Tony + Tara

Coronado Community Center Wedding | Tony + Tara

Capturing some of life’s most tender moments is a reward that keeps on giving for us at Prince Weddings, but it’s the warm welcoming of various cultures and traditions —the insight we collect from them— that is truly a priceless honor. On December 5th, 2015, Elizabeth was welcomed into Tara’s San Diego home to capture their Baci, or Lao Ceremony: a traditional Southeast Asian practice celebrating such things as birth, monkhood, or weddings, or in this case, the beautiful marriage between Tony and Tara. Too rarely are we able to connect with a couple as deeply as we did Tony & Tara, and it was our absolute pleasure to have Prince Wedding videographers Nathan & Jamie come out again the following day to cover their full wedding ceremony. The day began at Glorietta Bay Hotel in Coronado, a brilliant venue overlooking the San Diego coastline, where we met up with the two making their final preparations for the day. Before we knew it we were at the pristine Coronado Community Center, grounds we would surely love to photo or videography more often! With the vows read, and the drop-kiss exchanged, it was time for the reception—and what a party that was! A highlight of which were two lion dancers that undoubtedly stole the show. Tony & Tara’s celebration over the two days amounted to one of our most cherished Wedding experiences, a true festivity of Life, Love, Tradition, and Happiness.
